These Nets are a wonderful fix to beat-up and spent Hoop-nets. I make my own custom new harnesses and between the PROMAR Replacement Net (RN) and my harness, completely re-habs the Lobster Hoop for many years to come.
Purchased one of these last year for a different frame and liked it so much I decided to get another so I could replace one that was heavier and floated to much.
very good quality net
Works and fits well
Arrived very quick.Quality looks similar to what new hoops have but disappointing the replacements do not have the pocket used for bait
On time
Great customer service when I placed the order.
easy repair thanks to the you tube video
great
So, following the lead of many on YouTube, I built three California DFG legal crab pots, with the exception of nets. Just about every video I watched, the people were using Promar nets. After going to the website, I decided to try out the nets. Only one problem, I live in Arizona and my Bass pro/Cabela's doesn't carry them. So I called the company and ordered directly from Promar. I initially bought three and installed them on the pots. I bought two inch diameter larger than my pots. Wise decision. They slip on perfectly. So, fast forward two weeks and I decided to replace the nets on the ring I've had for fifty years. I had been repairing the nets for decades, until it looked like one single quilt of fifty patches. Looking forward to seeing them in use. It's almost March so it will probably be next October before I get to the coast and put these into the water.
Went to purchase replacement lobster hoop nets. Brian was very helpful and knowledgeable about the replacement net and helped show me how to replace it.
Ben, you are so fortunate to have associates like Brian on your team.
Exactly what I ordered and got it two days after I ordered it. Friendly staff as well. Thank you. God bless!
Made my old hoop, Net like new again
I was having some challenges locating a replacement net so I wrote to Promar asking about a replacement net. Brian Sanchez from Promar responded within a couple hours with directions on how to order the replacement net. The nets arrived within four days. They fit great.
Great quality nets, easy install. Other nets are still in good shape, replacing nets that rodents destroyed.
The actual ridged hoops Promar makes last for years, not so much the nets obviously and this product fits the bill perfectly for even more years of bug catchin' Thank you
Amazing customer service. Great product.
Used this net to redo a crab 3 ring net, worked well, it would be nice to throw some poly line in with the net to tie it on rather than having to purchase a roll of it. Customer service was great
Excellent service and product!
Glad to be of service! We hope you enjoy your new net!
Good
The net fit my hoop net that I a building.
I bought these for some hoop nets I'm making, and so far, they're great. The only thing I wish they had is the bait on the bottom. I will make the ring myself and tie it in.
Good
Replaced some of my older nets with this one and it is a much better quality than my previous. Love the quality of this net. Will definitely consider buying an actual promar net
